Privacy policy
This page is maintained by Ride Central Oregon to explain what we collect when you book a ride and how we handle it. It is our own description of our practices, not an independent certification.

What we collect
When you book, we collect only what we and your driver need:
- Your name, email address, and phone number.
- Pickup and drop-off addresses, dates, and times.
- Passenger count, luggage count, child seat count, and any requests you write in.
- An optional flight number, used to monitor your flight.
- Your confirmation code and the price of your trip.
We do not collect card numbers on this site. Payment is handled after your ride through our payment processor, which stores card details on its own systems.
How we use it
- To schedule, plan, and complete your ride.
- To send your confirmation, reminders, and driver details.
- To contact you about your specific trip if plans or conditions change.
- To keep records for accounting, insurance, and tax purposes.
We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with advertisers. We do not send marketing messages unless you specifically ask to hear from us.
Who else sees it
- Your assigned driver sees your name, pickup details, phone number, and requests.
- Our hosting and database provider stores booking records on our behalf.
- Our payment processor handles the card transaction after your ride.
- A flight data provider receives only the flight number you give us.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for seven years to satisfy accounting and insurance requirements. Written requests and notes attached to a trip are deleted sooner on request, where we're not required to keep them.
Your choices
Email hello@ridecentraloregon.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete what we're not legally required to keep. We respond within 30 days. You can opt out of trip-day text messages at any time by replying STOP, though we'll then reach you by email instead.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only the cookies required to keep your booking session working and to keep staff signed in to our internal booking dashboard. We do not run advertising trackers.
Children
Our booking service is intended for adults arranging travel. We collect the number of child seats needed, but never a child's name or personal details.
